We all have callings. For me for years I was like many looking for and answering to the big " make some money calling ". While music was always there since 85' when I use to groove to the go-go beats of DC onstage just hype to play one note. By 88' I discovered Reggae. This music impacted me so much I played only in Reggae Bands till 2001. With Reggae it was the sound, but even more it was the Message. The Message of GOD, Peace, Love, and Africa.
Now before 2001 I had been playing with A Nyhiabingi elder for 5 years in a Dub Poetry band call Ras. Pidow and Modern Antique. As a senior member of this band it had my full energy everything from songwriting to booking tours. Then when the 71 year elder and lead singer Ras. Pidow was jumped and passed forward in Baltimore in 2001 I decided it was time to do my own thing that wasn't dependent on other band members. Therefore in 2002 I begin developing the Message Music Genre. My goal was to combine the sounds of Soul, Reggae, Rock, and GoGo all the influences that were me and put the word, the message on this music. And Now 4 albums later I am still on this Mission. My Music is what I play now. I write songs that I hope will be one of my contribution to making this world a better place.
Currently I am writing album 5 out of a 13 volume seris of concept albums that I hope will in the end result in the Genre Message Music being know world wide.
