I started listening hiphop when I was 12, beginning with nas and wu-tang. Then on a monday evening I was searching for a nice radio station and i ended up with stubru where the hop was on the air. At that moment my musical view changed completly and I was so stoked by this 'other kind of hiphop'(the more soulful ones). From then i started searching new artists and other kinds of hiphop in the big world called music. One year and a half ago I stopped skateboarding. So i had uch time but nothing to do with it. Because music was my biggest occupation anyhow, the choice of startin' spinnin' wasn't surprising. I started buying records and crappy turntables. In the beginning it was a big struggle cause I bought the wrong records and trying to mix took to long:) After my summer job I bought better gear and started to think what I wanted to do with it. My goal was to bring positif hiphop to the people and doing it by mixin' it. Mixin' lyrical hiphop was hard in the beginning cause I didn't had the skills yet. So i started buying hiphop instrumentals and triphop. So then came my fascination for the more eclectical part of hiphop. After a while my mixes turned better and i went back to the music where it al started with: soulfull hiphop.Now one year later my sets are a mix of soulfull and funky beats with more eclectical and jazzy beats.If you are intrested [email protected]
