This fine young man goes by the name of Robert ‘Presha J’ Awuku Junior at 20 years of age this gifted man of God has made a commitment to serve the Lord through his inspirational gospel garage flows.
At the early age of 11 Presha J was introduced to music by his older sister who was also an aspiring lyricist. She taught him to write from his heart and not the pen. At the age of 16 he began to write and record tracks of a standard level. Through it he attempted to make him self more familiar with the garage scene that surrounded him. As the year went on his passion for music developed. Between the ages of 17, 18 he began to take his music more seriously and wrote one of his first tracks ‘Classical Riddim’ produced by ‘Showdem Productions’. He then went on to join a group by the name of ‘Collision Camp’ who was once highly rated within the peek of the garage now referred to as Grime scene. At that time he received a lot of encouragement and positive feedback towards his skills which was also an addition to his confidence. This compelled him to start work on a mix tape entitled ‘Pump Da Presha’.
The positive feedback continued and he began to showcase on various armature radio stations like ‘Axe FM, ‘UK-Flow’ and ‘Raw UK’ and many others. Around this time he produced a track called ‘Pump Da Presha’ Ft Fumin which he progressively built his name around. Left, right and centre DJ’s were demanding specials and producers were trying to get a hold of him. Just as he was about to release the mix tape into the grime scene, he encountered a change of heart and mind and put a full STOP there.
PreshaJ is getting the backing and getting mentored by his close friend Tunday. Which is assisting him in the production of his ground breaking debut single “No More” which is to be released later on this year. By Gods grace it will receive positive feedback after that, We’ll wait and see...
