LUTENANTS (LT) COME SUPPORT FRESH! @ REASON SHOW!!

10th March 2006..........Two MCs who go by the tags S*S* & Flawless recorded their first North Lutenants (NLT) track after departing from their previous group Cold Fusion. At the time S*S* had just started producing beats as the pair mostly recorded grime, hip-hop and rap music. As time went by the group grew as members were recruited into the team however problems were frequent within the group which held them back from progressing forward. A year later the group finally established a stable team with very few problems, the group of 8 at the time started making plans on releasing a promo CD which consisted of mostly grime and hip-hop music. As the promo CD was in the making North Lutenants recruited Fresh who became the 9th and last member the group recruited on. With 9 members in the group North Lutenants had a lot to offer as they started performing at local events and shows but once again problems occurred that slowed down the group and prevented them from finishing the promo CD on time which then resulted in four members leaving the group. After the departure of the four members the remaining 5 members decided to totally change their image as not all the group recorded grime or hip-hop music and not all the group were from North London; this change resulted in the group being re-named shortening the name to “Lutenants”. The group of 5 were much more comfortable as no problems pulled them back as they progressed on to finally complete the long awaited promo “Deeper Than A Trench”, the promo was first released on the internet on the 31st of January 2008, a few months later bonus tracks were added to the promo and this time on CD (Deeper Than A Trench Black Edition). The group have recently performed at Tottenham Carnival and currently have many shows and events lined up for the rest of the year, Lutenants are currently working on individual projects and are planning to bring together another group compilation very soon.
