About Me

Well then, I think its about time I updated my myspace!
Out with the old, In with the new!
2008, the year of big change for me as a DJ. My ever changing music styles and love for different genres brings me to the dirtiest raw electro I can get my filthy hands on. I admit it, I have become a full blown dirty bastard!!

First, a little about me and my DJ background...
I started DJing in 2004 after taking the plunge and investing in some direct drive turntables and a shocking mixer. Before this I was learning the basics using various PC DJ programs before realising that this is something I wanted to do. The 'in thing' for me at that time was dance/club music...anything above 140bpm. Some big influences at the time included the North West legend and Wigan Pier resident DJ Welly, Monroes and Maximes chief DJ Pete Daley and later on Sanctuary's John G. Listening to the likes of these DJs playing big sets infront of big crowds made me more hungry to succeed...and in Feb 2005 I got my first 'proper' set at the 'legendary' Cricketer in Wigan. That very night I was offered residency for Overload which I took straight away...

My DJ'ing nearly came to an end before it really started in 2005 when DJing in Morecambe for Overload. During my set a fight broke out on the dancefloor, realising one of my mates was totally helpless in the middle of around 10 'thugs' I threw my headphones down and ran into pull him out. It wasnt a good sight...the next thing I knew I was on the floor too. Examinations in hospital concluded that I had a broken nose and a ruptured ear drum amoungst a killer black eye. Eventually talked out of quitting by a number of big names in the scene, i decided I wasnt going to let a group of idiots ruin something I loved doing. I got back on track after a month out and started to take bookings.
I took a set at Trax in Rochdale for a night called Club Classics with Jamie B, gaining another residency...things were looking good.

After a year+ long successful residency with Overload and now starting to gain flattering guest slots all over the North West I formed Hard 2 The Core which brought Bolton the biggest and best bouncy house and UK hardcore around. This was hugely successful during its time at Coyote, eventually moving on to special guest slots in Blackburn's Never Never Land and Pitcher's where demand for us was overwhelming. I decided to put the night on hold early 2007 as I wanted to concentrate on my DJ'ing and get into producing my own material to play out.

In May 2007, I teamed up with a good friend of mine (Stu 'G) and had my first remix released on 12". This was a remix of Madonna's Like A Prayer (NRGetic Records 005) Selling out in a number of places, this reached the no.1 position on Juno's chart for Bouncy House. You can also find some of my releases on the NRGetic Digital label currently on 3beatdigital.com - check them out!

I was approached by MC's Arkie, Spark-C & DJ's Ebby and Macca around July 07 and asked to become resident for Adrenalin (which started life at The Cricketer) Having known these guys from my time as an Overload resident I knew that this was the start of something good. We moved out of The Cricketer to our new monthly home at Zone in Preston. This was a chance to lay down some harder tracks, experimenting and to develop as a DJ.

Having DJ'd with most of the biggest names in the bouncy house/scouse house scene including Stu Allan, Lisa Pin Up, Welly, Pete Daley, Jamie Agar, Bad Behaviour, The Blackout Crew, John G, Efeeze, Arkie and having graced the decks upon some of the best clubs in the North West including Maximes (Wigan) Klub DNA (Blackpool) Liquid Rock (Rochdale) amongst many many more, I like to think I have proved myself as a consistant crowd pleaser with my creative mixes and dance floor destroyers. Unlike alot of DJs out there, im not scared of trying something new.

I have got to where I am through sheer dedication, keeping my mixes tight and my tongue brown free!! xD

My music style is ever evolving.
The 4th May 2008 is the next step to world domination ;)
