DJ & Prodcer Steff Smith , Origionally from the Lake District but now based in Wigan is making a big impression on the north west music scene!!
Starting off mixing and producing hard house Steff found her style with wonky hard Electro and heavy tech- house..
Teaming up with the talanted producer Aquilaganja they formed Twisted Auido
& had huge success with Blindin Intoxication and Vicious Minds which were both signed and played in the likes of Ministry of sound, xstatic and Storm by top hardhouse DJS!Under their own names Steff and Aquilaganja wrote massive electro tune The Wobble.. with its catchy bassline the tune was a massive hit and, with 3 mixes, was released as part of a e.p on beatport and also made it onto compilation albums.. the next tune Sexual Devine made it into top 50 in beatport electro house chart!
After going their seperate ways too concentrate on other projects Steff teamed up with the talanted Mindform and Gaz Donning.. who also happened too be old friends from the lake district, They wrote the sankeys sound inspired 'Relentless' which is sure too be a hit!Now getting gigs every weekend all over the north west , 2009 is set too be a big year!! So far steff has played the Micky Slim bombsquad tour, in the main room alongside the likes of Micky Slim & Stupid Fresh, warmed up for Hi-Jack @ warped, played on the main outdoor stage @ Revival before Adam Sherridan, Micky Slim & K-klass, warmed up @ Versatile for Kryztow de Fier, Matt Eveson + loads more. Steff will also be headlining BOSH UP on aug 1st alongside GoodGreef dj Liam Wilson... aswell as securing a monthly residency with WARPED and also helping too run ELECTROSEX in wigan!
