Young gunz is a 3-piece outfit consisting of two rappers and one singer. We formed the group way back in the late nineties, when House and Garrage music was poppin. We had all been spitting lyrics for years back from the drum and bass era. Music had always played a big part in our lives, so obviously we all had talent in what we do and we knew that we could take things that step further.
We started having regular writing sessions and it wasn't long before a big back log of tracks was there ready to record. We created some hype about us at the time and ended up signing a four album deal with a small independent label which was an excellent learning curve for us as a group but in the end amounted to nothing apart from ever growing back log of tracks.
By the time we come off the label we had stopped recording and performing to Garrage and found our real love was RnB / Hip Hop scene and that's when our real creativity came into light. We started writing and recording new material at our friends studio and things were going well but with every knock back it put more and more pressure on us as a group and we ended up splitting for a while and it felt like it was over. We all realised what we were wasting and come back together to see if second time round worked. We are currently recording tracks independently and working with other artists on there projects as we don't just record we also write for singers so if you need some tracks and studio time. We are willing to work with you.....
