This Is... Theo

Theo Llewellyn Was Born In Homerton Hospital on December 28th 1988. He was born into a family of 6 in the depths of hackney. By the age of 3, he was performing in his fathers' church in Haringay as a young singer. By the age of 5, he was watching his brother play the drums in church and also wanted to be a musician. His mother had already put his 2 sisters an brother into a music school in Queens Bridge music school on saturdays and had arranged for him to learn how to play the Violin. Despite the fact that he wanted to learn the saxaphone, he continued to learn the violin music and perform monthly in places all over London. Even though he found it incredibly hard to read music, he stil fought long and hard to learn the pieces.. Eventually he found a solution to this problem, and realised that all he had to do, was listen to a piece of music and then play it within 3 or 4 tries before he had it perfectly. Once he heard a specific note, he would remember that note for as long an he needed to. After he had mastered the basic skills of how to play the violin, all other instruments were easy to master. He went on to play basketball in his school team and then to play for the East London Royals which were made up of most of his school friends. He then made the choice to concentrate more on his music, and spent more time learning how to play every other instrument he could find. He was then introduced to a performance in Hackney Empire called ADP4 (Artist Development Programme 4) in 2004. He Then became a long term member of the hackney empires performing arts business and was involved in other competitions Such as the 291 Show. He got through the first round and then went on to perform in the final show which he wasn't fortunate enough to win. He has just finished a show in the Hackney Empire called 'The Gospel According To Broadway!' He made new friends in this business and to this day is still being introduced to more and more people n the industry. Theo is still performing all over wherever he can in places like Stratford, Walthamstow, Barbican, Alexandra Palace and none other than the Hackney Empire.
