About Me

Now in our eleventh year, we are Brighton and Hove's old school vintage studio. We love our analogue sounds (we can still record on to 2 inch 24 track) valve equipment and audio quirkiness. The studio has become best known for our ability to record bands live, performing together, and we offer you a great sounding room to record in. When tracking your music you can record all instruments at the same time, which often produces the best take.We also offer loads of interesting instruments and amps: Strat, Teles, Epiphones, Framus, Levin, Hammond, Vox, Fender Twin, Wurlitzer, as well as a nice (as in new and in tune) piano. And much more.... For modern editing and mixing, we use Apogee digital converters, run Logic 7.2 on a G5 Mac computer. Engineers can spice up your sound using of SPL, Neve, SSL and Soundtracs preamps. Our mic collection includes studio classics by AKG, Neumann, Sennheiser, and Shure. Our outboard includes SSL G series bus compressors, and Lexicon and EMT plate reverbs.Artists choosing to record with us recently include Fujiya and Miyagi, Whitey, Barry Adamson, and Stereolab.Whatever your budget, give us a call to see if we can offer you a great deal. We want your business!"An impressive looking studio, with more of a guitar-band slant to their recording skills and stacks of vintage gear, if you're after that warm sixties sound this place is analogue heaven." - www.totallywired.co.uk Get Your Own! | View Slideshow
