Renzi & Mack, "DC's Dynamic Duo of Production", initially met while in Washington DC's Eastern High School marching band as fellow saxophone players.
In the Fall of 1998, as fellow keyboardists and members of the popular DC Go-Go band, Optimystic Tribe, they collaborated on songs for the band's first commercial LP release "The Awakening" (released on Listen Up Records, distributed by Liaison Records) and subsequently established the production/publishing partnership known today as Twenty-Eighth Decibel Music, LLP.
