Band Members: A loose band of producers, musicians, wits, raconteurs and poets led by Carl Max & Shanks who make musical mischief under the name 'IMPOSSIBLE' - Guest singers include Seal, Maxi Jazz, Sylvi Chamberlain, Lorna Marshall, Dee Heron and Mikey Red.
Influences: We love shedloads of stuff: Roots Manuva, Brian Eno, Old Dub and Reggae, Massive Attack, Tricky, Portishead, Hip Hop, African music and all dark, sinuous atmospheres. We hate jazz and country music....he he he.....ooh ok - Theolonious Monk and Slim Whitman are ok ....... maybe ....
Sounds Like: We just sound like us but erm........It's a bit Dubby, filmic, Rootsy and soulful, all mixed up in a likkle pot with a sprinkle of fairy dust and lots of ahem.... twisted genius.
