AST LIVE !!! BAR RIGA - STROUD - 9th JUNE

About Me

Alcatraz Swim Team were formed six years ago in the South West of England by Floss & Noel. At that time we had a drum kit, a guitar, decks and a keyboard. Then somebody (Baron von Ponytail) suggested getting a PC and learning how to produce. The rest is history. Since then we have been joined by vocalists Buce,Claire and Lauren who add the melodies and light to the dark beats, DJ Moldy on decks and more recently MC's Harry G and Mr Musn't have added rhymes to the dark beats! AST have provided music to various video and film projects, such as Team Extreme videos and the film 'Talking Coasts'. We are currently working on the score for upcoming British film "The Midnight Drives" by Mark Jenkin & produced by O-Region: check out www.midnightdrives.co.uk for details. The long awaited first album is now out and available in Kanes and Trading Post in stroud and Badlands in Cheltenham. Mailorder is now available from www.alcatrazswimteam.com and MP3 downloads will be coming soon. The AST live set is well under way, check above for upcoming gigs, be nice to see you there!Peace and love,AST x x
