Ogya Band

The Ogya band is a new world music band , based in Chatttanooga TN. Founded by Kofi Mawuko, a Ghanaian based in Chattanooga TN, comprised of well experienced musicians who have played with some world renowned musicians and has toured the world. Ogya band is a high energy band that will make you dance and dance and dance till you are out of breath.Kofi, Rebekah and Mawuko have returned from Ghana after a 4 week visit with family and friends. They are in great spirits and are back to work in Chattanooga with musical and dance activities in the Chattanooga area.The Ogya band is preparing for Spring & Summer shows and is open for bookings. They performed at the Bessie Smith Performance Hall in Chattanooga recently to benefit the ecology of the Carribbean. The auction raised thousands of dollars to help clean and maintain the environment. The Ogya band had a great show and the audience not only helped a worthy cause, but had a great time dancing to the hot music. Shows will be announced as soon as they are booked.
