Once upon a time I was the singer of a local band named Ninth Lane. I left, and they moved on and became Zeromind. I like live hardcore music with a sharp edge to it. It's gotta be real though. None of that mass-produced, mainstream, just add water, and get a hit song crapola that somehow makes it's way on to the radio these days. I live out my days Monday thru Friday delivering meat to restaraunts on the Peninsula in the SF Bay Area, and on the weekends I generally sleep, ride my lovely motorcycle, make musico on my computero, watch TV, go to church, or go fishing with my "Little El Salvadorian Monkey friend" Riff. I enjoy a sober lifestyle, as well as not smoking, anything, although I have a beer or 2 every now and then. Me and BBQ get along real well, like peas and carrots. Lately I've been hooked on Invader Zim on Nicktoons. Gir is my all time favorite character. I have some really awesome friends, all of whom I value highly. We don't hang out nearly as much as we used to, but when we do the time spent is quality for sure.
In 2000 I experienced what some might consider to be an awakening of sorts. It actually began to take place much earlier than that. Over a periond of a few years of suffering and difficulty that was a direct result of making a lot of really bad decisions, like getting drunk and using various types of illegal substances to get high and be "cool", my world started to fall to pieces. A whole bunch of awful little chaotic shards of misery. I thought if I could just become rich and famous with my band "9th Lane", all my problems would be solved. I would have respect, and recognition, and power, and authority. But I was empty inside. And as time passed, and the partying continued, I grew even emptier. I was making the lives of my friends and family miserable as they witnessed my self destruction move from drug dependency to homelessness. I know people were praying for me. I know God heard them, and I know God heard me. In order to make a very long story very short I'll tell you this. I cried out to God with all my heart to change me, and change my life for the better. He is so merciful, and loving, and faithful. I realized that I am a sinner. God used some good folks to put a Holy Bible in my hands, and I read it, and read it, and read it some more. I learned that everyone is a sinner, even those folks who seem like they've got it all together and can do no wrong. I learned that being a sinner meant that I was doomed to an eternity separated from God. I learned that I could never be good enough to earn my way into Heaven. But the most important thing that I learned is that God made a way for me to be with him in Heaven, but that's only when this life is over. I came to understand that I could have a close relationship with God while I was still here on Earth.
I know I said I was gonna make this short, so just chill a minute while I wrap this up! Ahhiight?
How is that? I'm glad you asked... The Bible refers to Jesus Christ as the "Lamb of God" who takes away the sins of the world. John the Baptist said that. Jesus took my place, and the place of every man, woman, and child, when he hung on that cross 2000+ years ago. He paid the penalty for our sins. The catch is this, you must choose to believe. The Bible says that whosoever believes is not condemned, but whosoever does not believe is condemned already because he has not believed in the only begotten son of God. Just see for yourself. The Bible also says that whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. His name is JESUS. If you have difficulty believing that's ok. You can ask him to help you with your unbelief. He's a gentleman so he's not going to just impose himself on you. You gotta ask. Look for him. Call upon him, and keep calling upon him. He will answer. He loves us too much not to.

I am no longer a dope addict, now I'm a hope addict! I have been in my own apartment now for 5 years. I have been consistently employed for the last 4.5 years straight. I just bought a brand new motorcycle in October and by the Grace of God am expecting to have it completely paid off by or before September of this year 2006. I could go on all night about how God has restored my life, but I think you all get the point by now. JESUS saved me and is continuing to do so. I'm not perfect by far, but I'm also no longer empty and miserable either. God has been good to me . Do yourselves a favor and let him be good to you...
