The basics.
If I did it right, it sounds like no one else...if not then it sounds like your mom on PCP.
The first CD was all about the basic principles of music; Sex (or lack there of) Drugs and Rock 'n' Roll. It was all a drunken rant. You should see my collection of Jager bottles. Now with the start of a new CD, I plan to get a little more creative. Instead of all the craziness that was the first disc, this one is going to have more life stuff in it.
There's going to be some sentimental songs, political songs (so I guess I should start watching the news), and some humorous songs. While I was taking a dump today I got this idea for making a bunch of short, 2 minute, songs in the likes of punk bands like Sex Pistols or even my dudes in Nerd Table. The Nerds did a quick set once and jammed a bunch of songs into a short amount of time. This looked cool to me and it definitely affords the fan more bang for his buck as he hears more songs. Plus, in this day in age, I think attention spans are getting shorter along with patience, which when making songs, I have little of.
In the first CD I wanted chorus after chorus. I think this one'll be less chorus oriented and more focus on the production and smarter lyrics. I think it'll be a push away from hip-hop. Who knows. Only time will tell. I know I want a different sound so I might employ more guest appearances on production and on the Bob Barker mic. All I know is that different is cool and enlightening.
