Nyasi Forte. Hard to explain, Plenty of metal influences, and prog /thrash/grind etc, but with grooves you can move to none the less. It basically goes down like this; Ians' mighty six-string bass riffage coupled with Joes (sparkly) double kit deserve its own place on the Richter scale, while Ashs' fingers pin down another razor sharp arpeggio like a spider tap dancing to Emperor, and in the midst, Luke belts out another heart-felt vocal angst in empasioned rage. In places there is harshness of sound which is like being harnessed to a rumbling undercurrent of sound akin to urban violence. ..."Nyasi Forte quickly establish themselves as the strongest act so far. Ians' mighty six-string bass vies with the drumkit for its own place on the Richter scale, while Ashs' fingers pin down another razor sharp arpeggio like a spider tap dancing to Emporor. Matts' vocals switch between melody, atonality, paintstripping screech and seismic sub-bass below. Music for a multiple personality near you......"

"...Nyasi Forte were last on the list but not in talent or skill, the singer has a death growl that wouldn't be out of place at the Wacken Festival. In places his harshness of sound reminded me of the band Anaal Nathrakh, this being harnessed to a rumbling undercurrent of sound akin to aural violence which had most of the crowd moving along with it. Having waited most of the night to play their original material we weren't disappointed either as we were taken on a rollercoaster ride of extreme music. An enjoyable eavening all round."

"...Nyasi Forte have come of age. Their mix of extreme metal and prog always appealed to me, but they were always let down by a stream of average vocalists. With new guy Luke on the mic things have improved 200%. Now they sound like a unit rather than an instrumental band with some twat yelling over the top of it! Luke looks a bit like Fred Durst on stage , but he can actually sing as well as grunt. Definately an improvement, everything clicked, and deservedly got the best audience response on the night.... ....Tonight was Nyasi Forte's night!"

".....Nyasi Forte on the other hand are brilliant, mixing brutal hardcore tinged thrash interspersed with melodic Bleeding Through-esque singing parts."
