About Me

Let's see:Age 16, graduated from military high school. Age 16, went to college at McNeese and Lamar University. Age 17, left college to join the Army. Age 17, dehabilitating injury to left leg earns medical D.Q. Age 17, went to California to work as a stuntman. Instead, learned martial arts and worked as a webmaster. Age 17-19, worked as everything from personal fitness trainer to hydroblaster. Age 19, had four professional kickboxing fights, won two, lost two. Age 20, got waiver for medical condition and rejoined the Army. Age 21, accepted to West Point Prep School.

There's the brief story of my life. I love sociology and psychology, and spend most of my time reading or writing. Forgive the goofball picture, I had this taken when I was a webmaster posing in a uniform.
Currently, I work as the webmaster for the USMAPS webpage, and I also do the video editing. I'm most proud being able to coach boxing and grappling. Well, technically, Joe Viz is the true coach of grappling, but my name is on paper. So there.

My Interests

I love boxing, moreso whenever it wasn't run by a bunch of crooks and talentless fighters, K-1, UFC, and other MMA tournaments. I also like medicine, science, reading, music, movies, and other such things. I love listening to music, and some of my favorite artists got together and made a new band.

I'd like to meet:

Jamey Jasta, he's the man. Let's see. I'd also like to meet Matt Ridley, Kazushi Sakuraba, Roy Jones Jr., and quite a few others.

Music:

My Cherokee roommate called it "Angry white man music". Bands like Sepultura, Soulfly, HateBreed, DevilDriver, old Metallica, Pantera, Rage Against the Machine, Klank, Pantera, Madball, Blood for Blood, Born from Pain, In Search Of, Trivium, Static-X, Damageplan (RIP Dimebag), A Perfect Murder, Bury Your Dead, etc. You can view the list under "myfriends" and see most of my favorite bands.
I should also mention that "Angtoria" has impressive releases. I'm not much of a fan of the black metal scene, but the lead singer's opera skills are impressive.

Movies:

Most of the Mafia movies are good. Casino, Goodfellas, Godfather, Scarface, etc. I typically like action and comedy films for multiple viewings, and some dramas with worthwhile content. I hate most horror films because they're usually not scary, the acting sucks, plot sucks, and why anyone watches them at all outside of cheap laughs is amazing to me.

Television:

Mythbusters, CSI, Law and Order, 24, Scrubs, Family Guy, Futurama, and some history shows.

Books:

Books by Robert Wright, Michael Shermer, Joseph Campbell, etc.

My Blog

My goodness, SPAM galore!

I seem to have recently become a mark for a bunch of scam campaigns.  The first, a person with an Indian accent told me I got my government grant for college.  Full of joy, I inquired more.&...
