Matt, aka Mr P, aka The Legend

I came, I saw, I kicked his ASS!

About Me

Hi there, my name is Matt, better known as Mr P. I'm a friendly but old fashioned person who is polite to anyone I meet, especially for the first time. I don't let anything or anyone worry me or get in my way. I do get stressed quite often, but I am able to keep things under control. I can be extremeley sarcastic if I need to be. I am also quite ambitious, very daring and very honest! I'm bristling with good ideas, and sometimes, I like putting them to the test. I also help out my friends as a counsellor of sorts whenever they're feeling down, or have something on their mind.
Get a good idea and stay with it. Do it, and work at it until it's done right - Walt Disney
The interpretation of dreams is the royal road to knowledge of the unconcious activities of the mind - Sigmund Freud
Follow your dreams, believe in yourself and don't give up, and you will achieve success in what you set out to do - Rachel Corrie
The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams - Eleanor Roosevelt
Your Expression Number is 5
A total multi-tasker, you have a wide variety of talents.
You're very versatile and able to change at a drop of a hat.
A free spirit, you crave change and adventure.
Clever and quick witted, you can convince anyone of anything.
You can do anything you desire... though this sometimes gets you in trouble!
Very popular, you're always thinking up new ways to entertain and amuse your friends.
Your restless and impatient attitude means you don't stay with projects for long.
You tend to be erratic and scattered - it's hard for you to focus.
You often find yourself in a state of flux with constantly changing interests. What's Your Expression Number?
JERUSALEM
And did those feet in ancient time
Walk upon Englands's mountains green?
And was the Holy Lamb of God
On England's pleasant pastures seen?
And did the countenance divine
Shine forth upon our clouded hills?
And was Jerusalem builded here
Among those dark satanic mills?
Bring me my bow of burning gold!
Bring me my arrows of desire!
Bring me my spear! O clouds unfold!
Bring me my chariot of fire!
I shall not cease from mental fight;
Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand
Till we have built Jerusalem
In England's green and pleasant land.

My Interests

I like going to The Last Night of the Proms every year, I'm also into aviation and maritime history. I'm rather a good artist as well, although I'm just a beginner. I enjoy going out different places, travelling overseas, going out with friends, and being an amatuer trainspotter (boring, some of you might say)! I also love computer games, particulary the massively popular Legend of Zelda series.Concorde

I'd like to meet:

Doctor Who in all his incarnations, The Simpsons, Walt Disney, Will Hay, William Shakespeare, All Angels, Cliff Richard, The Monty Python Team, Mr Bean, and Bond (no not James, the band)

Music:

I enjoy listening to a variety of music including pop, easy listening, folk and classical (incl. classical crossover and opera).Artists include The Bee Gees, The Beatles, Richard Clayderman, Foster & Allen, Elton John, The Seekers, Shakin' Stevens, The Byrds, Queen, Peters & Lee, The Monty Python Team, Chas 'n' Dave, The Shadows, Louis Armstrong, Kenny Rogers, Cliff Richard, Andy Williams, The Drifters. (OK, I know I'm a bit old fashioned)Classical is my favourite genre though, along with classical crossover, opera, and the odd film soundtrack. I enjoy works by such composers/artists as: Elgar, Verdi, Tchaikovsky, Vivaldi, Handel, Rossini, Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Strauss, Dukas, Sousa, The Fron Male Voice Choir, All Angels, Grieg, Natasha Marsh, Katherine Jenkins, Gavin Greenaway, Bond, Karl Jenkins, and the Adiemus singers.

Movies:

Science fiction, like Independence Day, Star Wars (all 6), Star Trek (all 10!), War of the Worlds(1953), and the two Doctor Who movies from the sixties.I also classic horror like Halloween (1, 2 and H20 only), The Fog, and maybe some of the old Hammer Horror from years gone. Comedies are my favorite genre, with such films like the Carry Ons, Monty Python, the old Will Hay films, the extremely hilarious Naked Gun series, Johnny English, and the hilarious Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines. Adventure like Harry Potter (all 4 so far), The Mummy, Indiana Jones (all 3). Other films like disaster movies. Some can be a bit on the corny side, but as long as the story is good, I'll watch it. For example: Titanic, Deep Rising, The Day After Tomorrow, The Core, Poseidon. Most Disney films (Classic animation for the animated ones mind, I don't like the new computer animation, although Finding Nemo was good). The Lion King is my fave Disney film, along with Fantasia, and Fantasia 2000 (because of the classical music content).Certain classic war films like Sink the Bismarck, The Desert Rats, Tora! Tora! Tora!(a better alternative to the dire Pearl Harbour). I don't like re-makes or re-imagining of films though, it just spoils a good story.

Television:

I like a lot of tv programmes, mainly documentaries, comedies, entertainment and sci fi.Airline, 'Allo 'Allo, The Crocodile Hunter, It Ain't Half Hot Mum, Gilligans Island, Open All Hours, Fawlty Towers, Last of the Summer Wine, Britain's Got Talent, Monty Pythons Flying Circus, Mythbusters, One Foot in the Grave, Police Squad, Star Trek (all 6 incarnations), BBC News, Test the Nation, The A-Team, The Joy of Painting, The Simpsons, Blackadder, Torchwood, Battlestar Galactica (1978), The Two Ronnies, The Weakest Link, Planet Earth, Doctor Who, Sky News, Mr Bean. Plus, any documentary about the Titanic, Lusitania or any of the great classic ocean liners.I do not like reality TV shows like Big Brother, I'm a Celebrity..... etc. Shows like that really suck!!!!! Also shows like X-Factor, Pop Idol etc, are a waste of time. I know the contests are fixed anyway.

Books:

Mainly books by Enid Blyton

Heroes:

My best friends who I love very much.Jade, Holly,my two brothers, Chris and Simon, and of course, my parents.Thank you all for your strong support over the past years.
