Rob Zombie, horror, art, reading, writing, movies (mainly documentaries and independents), writing, comic books, viruses (how something microscopic can do so much damage fascinates me), numerous tv shows (Lost, Dexter, Friday Night Lights, CSI, etc.), primates and other animals (including my 2 kitties), true crime, and lots of other things I'm sure I'm forgetting right now.
I definitely would love to meet some contacts for future jobs, networking, etc. As for dating: Well, given my love of hair bands, long-haired, rough-looking rocker boys absolutely make me weak in the knees. However, that's just what first catches my eye. I wound up spending one summer dating a short haired cowboy so I definitely don't restrict myself to one type. Appearances aside, what matters to me most is what's on the inside. I want to find someone interesting who can respect me even if our opinions differ. I will treat you like gold if you do these things. I need HONESTY, passion, respect, love, affection, and fun times together. Write me if my profile interests you . . . even if we seem like opposites. What they say about opposites attracting really is true sometimes. Also, seriously, write me if you are a fellow filmmaker. It's always interesting to compare notes. Finally, write me if you just think we'd make good friends. Basically, I'm looking to get to know some people who are in the same field as me, want to have fun conversations, watch fun movies/tv, and generally hang out. I am single so, if something more comes of it that would be great! If not, fine.
Rob Zombie, The Doors, numerous 80's hair bands, classic rock and lots of things you wouldn't expect. I worked in record stores for years and heard a lot of different things I never would have heard if I hadn't been there. I miss that part!
God, I can never answer this one easily. Just today I made the mistake of looking at the $5.99 DVD section when I went into Best Buy and I wound up walking out with 4 DVD's. I absolutely love horror movies, but it's so rare that a good one is put out there. I guess I'll try to break it down by 2 of my favorite categories:HORROR: In The Mouth Of Madness, Phantasm 1 & 2, The Serpent & The Rainbow, The Resurrected, Ginger Snaps, Dog Soldiers, The Phantom Of The Opera (1925), Killer Klowns From Outer Space, The Hitcher, The Ring (one of the few American remakes I've seen that was better than its original Japanese version) and numerous others that will come to me as soon as I sign off.DOCUMENTARY: Paradise Lost: The Child Murders Of Robin Hood Hills, Paradise Lost: Revelations, Murder On A Sunday Morning, The Thin Blue Line, Capturing The Friedmans, and Michael Moore's stuff. However, before you read this and automatically write me off as a bleeding heart liberal, I don't necessarily agree with him 100% of the time. Despite that, he does a hell of a good job putting films together.
Dexter, Lost, Friday Night Lights, CSI, Without A Trace, The Amazing Race, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, etc. And, yes, I listed a lot of shows, but I'm not just a slacker couch potato. LOL. These are just my release after being at school all day long.
I'm a college student. In other words, I really don't think you want a long list of textbooks. Generally, though, I prefer true crime and medical stuff. I LOVE "The Cobra Event" and "The Hot Zone" by Richard Preston. After I get out of school, I'll be more able to get back into reading. For now, this list will be short.

My parents, Angelina Jolie for her humanitarian work, Joel Berlinger and Bruce Sinofsky for the West Memphis 3 work they have done, Bob Keppel for his work on the Ted Bundy and Green River Killer cases, anyone who volunteers for The Doe Network (www.doenetwork.org), Matt Swan - a former script writing teacher of mine, Laura Vazquez - a former film instructor, teachers in general, anyone who advocates for crime victims, and any fireman or cop. They put their lives on the line for a pathetic amount of money.
