Grew up in Waukegan, Lived in Gurnee and Lake Bluff during my high school years, Then moved to Vernon Hills(Still living with Mom and Brother), [BTW I'm phisically disabled, so when my Brother went to college, my mother was no longer able to help me with my care.] moved to Naperville to live on my own (Had personal care attendant for 5-8 hrs daily), when that situation fell through I had to become roomates with my Mom and Brother in Buffalo Grove, when that became a difficult situation due to the progression of my disability [Beckers Muscular Dystrophy], I moved into a nursing home (not knowing what else to do since appropiate community assistance is still not available, dispite what a lot of public officals say or believe), I am currently moving into my fourth nursing home in eight years (Sheridan Health Care in Zion, Illinois), last 3-4yrs I've been in Libertyville, and before that was in Evanston before that. My favorite was living in Evanston but had to move further north to be closer to family. I have hope for the future that I may soon find a way to live on my own.
