About Me

I began DJing in 1996, after a culmination of influences ranging from the synthetic sounds of Giorgio Moroder and Nine Inch Nails, to progressive house, atmospheric drum & bass, and early west coast breaks.
After six years behind the decks at various nightspots in Chicago, and a two year stint as the drum & bass, progresive, trance, and breaks buyer at the world renown Gramaphone Records, I made the jump to the San Francisco Bay Area to join the crew at Primal Records in Berkeley, where I continued to be the buyer for progressive house, breaks, and techno. Currently, I put on a monthly party called Maximal in San Francisco with my partner Eli Bingham.
In addition to DJing, I've been producing since 1998, and I founded Slow Motion Sequence recordings at the same time to serve as an outlet for my own releases, as well as for other producers that share the same aesthetic. The latest release is a set of remixes for the Solaris Heights track "Rivers," that Eli Bingham and I did under our We Are Not guise. While still in the planning stage, 2007 looks to be the strongest year yet with a grip of projects in the works. Stay tuned!
