ZODIAC SOCIAL is the studio alias of Norman Brannon — a DJ/producer from Brooklyn who found his love for house music on a German dancefloor in 1996. It's taken him to Chicago, where he worked for the legendary Gramaphone Records , and then to Berkeley, where he ran the Primal Records and PR2 Recordings labels from a dingy back room underneath a dirty public bathroom in a laundromat. (It leaked sometimes.) A New York City native, Brannon currently makes dirty beats and writes in third person from his obsessively clean bedroom.
