I had a bit of a health scare in the fall of 2005. It was the first time I've ever been scared like that. It was the kind of situation that changes your life in a lot of ways. But everything happens for a reason and we learn from all of it. So out of the fall of 2005 came this music thing. I had wrote songs for a while but rarely ever tried to sing them. I can feel it coming with every new song!'Kourt's Song' was for my daughter.
