About Me

Myspace Layouts - Myspace Editor - Image Hosting

I am on a tour of the US! My job as a conveyor system installer takes me to wherever the work is located. And the work is almost always away from my home in Plano, TX. The lifestyle has its pluses and minuses. On the positive side, I get to travel to and live in different cities: Miami, Dallas, Houston, KC, Denver, LA...It may seem strange to some, but the road is in my blood (I’ve been in this line of work on-and-off since graduating high school.) There is something about packing up your belongings and heading out to a new place to live. The obvious downside is that it is difficult on my relationship with Mary Jo. And I miss my family back home in Youngstown, Ohio. I spend as much “off” time as I can with Mary Jo. And I always look forward to visiting with family in Ytown. mspmb enableJavascript="false" allowScriptAccess="never" src="http://lads.myspace.com/slides/slideshow_random.swf?u=9 2819214" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="426"

My Interests

I am an avid golfer and always look forward to family matches. Winning a few bucks while playing against friends just can't compare to playing for family pride. I also enjoy cooking, which is probably why Mary Jo puts up with me!

I'd like to meet:

Meeting a celebrity is not on my to do list. I'd rather spend time with the people I have already met. Given more time, I would spend it with my father and family in Youngstown.

Music:

I listen to most types of music. Grew up listening to John Cougar, Journey, Meatloaf...Got to Ohio State and started listening to The Smiths, The Cure, The Psychedelic Furs, Violent Femmes, Janes Addiction, The Cult...Working with my uncle, I learned to appreciate classic country: Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Jr., Conway Twitty, George Jones. Recently I have been getting into classic soul and blues: Otis Redding, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Buddy Guy...I have been reminiscing about the old days at Ohio State and the Sunday nights at Mean Mister Mustard's. So check this out: my own version of AC DC - Cult night! Is there anyone out there that remembers this place? It was so dark, so seedy, so swank, and sooooo cool.

Movies:

My favorite movie all-time is The Shawshank Redemtion, probably because I loved book The Count of Monte Cristo so much. The movie is so well done, especially the narration by Morgan Freeman.Great movies in no particular order (work in progress): Unforgiven: "Deserve's got nothin' to do with it" Silverado: "Jake fell off his horse?" Tombstone: "I'm your Huckleberry" Payback: "Then what good are you?" Groundhog Day: "Well, it's Groundhog Day... again..." Barfly: "I don't hate people. I just like it a lot better when they're not around." The Quiet Man, and any movie with John Wayne Casablanca: "We'll always have Paris. " Treasure of the Sierra Madre: "Badges?..." Saving Private Ryan: "Tell me I'm a good man." Braveheart: "I am William Wallace!" Good Will Hunting: "How do you like them apples?" Snatch: "You want to see if I've got the minerals?" Cool Hand Luke: "I bet I can eat 50 eggs." Stalag 17: "At ease, At ease...Next." Caddyshack: "Bark like a dog." My Cousin Vinny: "Did you say Utes?" Christmas Movies: It's a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Story, ScroogedGreat Speach Scene Movies: The American President, Independence Day, Ladder 49, Mr. Holland's Opus, Other People's Money
