Cigar Store Indians

A Band With Dirt Under its Fingernails.

About Me

Cigar Store Indians started back in 1991 and I have no idea why its been around for so long. I tried to convince myself that its because we've been so innovative and that we've held all of you spellbound with our bad accents. But then, sober truth blows me a kiss and reminds me of the night at "Pot Bellies". Our audience consisted of 4 girls, who left after I told them that "we don't play Dave Mattews," the soundman, who went outside to smoke during our set, and the chatty bartender, who came to the stage and stopped me mid-song to ask if we could watch the bar while she went to the bathroom. As the bathroom door closed behind her I looked around to see the room was empty. I knew at that moment we had made Rock n Roll history. "Cigar Store Indians, the only band to play to Nobody".So anyway, here we are like a bunch of hobo's waitin around for the next ride to somewhere . Thinkin about why all this matters; or does it?.
