One Atom 12 is the newest form of rock for those fans of passion and music. They are purely hard rock with no gimmicks and their sound is quickly resonating through to even the sourest of cynics. With "Bring Me Back" as their first self-produced album, One Atom 12 does not leave their fans disappointed. Songs such as “Stand,†“Morning Time,†and “Free,†pierce your ears with the concept of rebirth and starting anew.
Although a few of the band members were once connected through the same medium, One Atom 12 is focused on a new beginning and a new sound. Anthony Cavese-singer and guitar player, fronts the band with strong, passionate vocals, and strums his guitar in beat with the heartfelt melancholy of his lyrics. Peter Norman- guitar player and back-up vocals, has a specialty at bending his strings and pulling out the most amazing solos heard in a hard rock song. His harmonies ease the crowd as the unmistakable One Atom 12 sound pours over the crowd. The newest member, Steve Nemeth- bass player, has proven to be the backbone they were looking for. His running bass lines give the single most important reason to bob your head. The final string, Louis Ingwersen- drums, swings his arms up in a dangerous fury to compliment the guitars with a heavy drumbeat. This is a foursome that few forget.
Members of One Atom 12 have confessed to being influenced by Foo Fighters, For Love Not Lisa, and other alternative rock bands. The best explanation of their sound is pure hard rock like Seether, Chevelle, and Breaking Benjamin with a classic rock element, such as Rush and Led Zepplin. Hitting the radio before the album had even come into existence; One Atom 12 has been taking their hometown by land, air, and water. With this album and more to come, One Atom 12 is going to bring back me and all those other music fans that have been waiting for a great rock band.
