MANIFESTO FATALEMANIFESTO FATALE
L’instant Fatale formed out of a sense that most things other than being in a band would be too awful to contemplate.
L’instant Fatale’s concern is to make rock’n’roll music fresh and un-generic enough to feel oppressive. We wish to hear all the songs we’ve ever dropped our jaws to, condensed into one song, by one band (that sounds like none of them).
We thrill to bad taste and disharmony of influences. We believe in the inherent value of oddness. We hope to touch the hearts of any young and (mentally) beautiful indie kid too sensitive, arrogant, immature and dreamy for the dismal world of normal work. It’s an ongoing process, of course, and what you hear on Demo 1 is just a snapshot of our shambling into life and purpose.
We hope that, on hearing our Demo 1, you’ll think kindly of us and wish great things for us.
L’instant Fatale: The wisely childish, passionately cynical, unique pastiche band
Ps...if you dont like us at first, please listen again and again until you do.

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Rich'y - Writes the songs, anti-singing, plays guitars and bass

Yu Tanaka-icy chanteuse with a beautiful voice, a classically trained pianist, also plays bass and keyboards

Roger Maybank"..hopeless, hapless, happyish.."- drums, diplomacy, taps an empty bottle and approximates adulthood
Disclaimer: these pitures were concieved of and taken before Pan's stupid Labyrinth was ever more than a gleam in director del Toro's eye. This does not, however, mean that we are absolutely opposed to eating babies.

Influences: I s'pose influences means the bands we turn to when we grow tired of our own inventions. l'INSTANT fATALE is disproportionately influenced by bands and artists that begin with B (and that can stretch to Bob Dylan and Brian Wilson).
More than anything else we've been influenced by the people we've met and worked with such as Shane 'Olinski (of eLsuB among too many other bands)and Rory McVicar. You can find them in our top friends. Also Hyperkinako and bands with Jack in (Le Tetsuo, the Bells the Bells).
Sounds Like: Someday we'll sound like all the music I love- or want to love.
