About Me

I’m Ruby - nicknamed after the Rolling Stones song, courtesy of my two best friends. I’m currently a student, studying Media and English, and I occasionally take photographs *but I am NOT a photographer* and write short fiction. You can find some of both works over on my Deviantart site - the link is below. Aside from writing, I obsess over music, corsets, shoes and pretty things. When it comes to music my main genres are classic rock, punk and glam but I like pretty much all sorts of rock. Outside of music I’m eclectic. I worship Tim Burton, David Bowie and Bettie Page, I collect morbid toys *grim reaper teddy bears, the Living Dead Dolls, etc* and I have the strangest sense of humour of anyone I know. Other than that, I love my freedom, I hate fake people, I believe in being completely honest and I do crazy things on the spur of the moment.

What else should you know? Oh, yes! I really do not care what people think of me, I’m resilient to the point of being Human Teflon and I love my life. In the words of Nikki Sixx, life is beautiful.
