It started at junior school, meeting ric. decades later he started a little label called croissant neuf and he was good enuff to put out my first ramblings: "a kind of loving" as the first release. since then we've both worked closely on new projects, him creating the "Vespertine & son" label and me contributing the music and art work... a little cottage industry, in a way...we met a lovely bunch of people along the way, go by the name of "green ufos": a wonderful lil' label in spain. in jan / feb '07 released the album "returning to the scene of the crime".met the lovely sophia lockwood who's tranformed the live shows with the introduction of cello.spent the last 4 months playing live around spain (and a few little gigs here in manchester)some fascinating venues / performances t.b.c here in england and europe...oh, and work has started on the next album... xr
