I got nobody on my side... surely that ain't right.

About Me

I'm nice. I built a car. I wear the clothes. I'm waiting for that stuff to materialize. I saw Jason lick the panini and put it back in the basket. I live in a Cemetery in Hollywood in Los Angeles, CA.

My Interests

fucking around with samples, mixing records, writing, running on the beach at night, design, independent thought, trying to change, not eating trash, figuring people out, stepping in dog shit, tooling around Hancock Park in my aluminum blue race bike (21 speeds, 14 work), checking out local bands, bothering local bands, weirding out local bands, wearing sunglasses at night, swearing at cars that take up two spaces on the street when there is street sweeping, j-boarding, buying used records, walking on the sidewalk (because this half is mine, cocksuckers), drinkin beers, sitting in Roecker's media room, overthinking everything, not talking, talking far too much, banality, and I read books.

I'd like to meet:

lost off a bus, sweatshirt beer and sweat, worn canvas and rubber scraping ground, cotton leggings, sagging hole in knee, pensive smile and day old eyeliner, plastic headphone G.E.D, iris eye'd and silver nitrate cerebrum

Music:

I have like 524 records and cds which isn't much for a DJ but its a start. If its cool you can bet I will probably like it, unless it sucks. I'm not going to maintain the coolest list of cool shit ever because it's a waste of time. lately notably potables: the caesars/caesars palace, the adolescents, the aliens, panda bear, RATATAT, the good the bad and the queen, PB&J, belle and sebastian. future sound of london, underworld, norman cook, coldcut, chem bros, most ninja tune and most warp artists, that lot. good psychedelic 60's rock. donovan and dylan. the streets. dub and dancehall and electronic dub a la tino's breaks a la meat beat. vangelis. gil scott-heron. four tet. eno. fripp. DFA. death in vegas. nightmares on wax. joy division. iggy fucking pop. black rebel motorcycle club. old punk. the sonics. the damned. the fall. thee machine gun elephant. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:British_punk_rock_grou ps traditional indian music from the 60s (ananda shankar, ravi shankar)

Movies:

2001: A Space Odessey // Blade Runner // Trainspotting // Heat // Hackers // BLOW UP // the limey // Fight Club // MIAMI VICE (!)// the unreleased green day docthe usual stuff. the usual suspects, tron, space movies, old monster movies, mst3k movies- diabolik- bad sci fi from days past- the green slime, snatch and lock stock, super troopers, the big lebowski, the insider, films with grace kelly and cary grant, the seven samurai, the manchurian candidate, old 007 films, fellini, antonioni, leone, giallo takashi miike- gozu, dead or alive, yakuza demon, psychological hitchcock films, alien/s, predator, steven soderberg's indie films, dune... most david lynch films (damn actors). music video queens spike jonze, chris cunningham, michel gondry. I probably like lots of films you like, unless you are a potato.

Television:

duh. twilight zone. that twilighty show about that zone. the simpsons, pre 1998. rally & forumla 1. theres a joke that goes how do you make a thousand nerds cry? cancel futurama. and then fox got wind of the joke finally and said hey what a great idea. MST3k was also cancelled, and nerds cried. MTV's old show AMP. that bebop show about the cowboys. the office&Extras. monty python. Dr House MD. Look Around You.

Books:

all time faves neuromancer/william gibson. snow crash/neil stephensen. martian chronicles/ray bradbury. trainspotting/that cunt mikey forrester. vineland/thomas pynchon. on the road/keroac //Authors: Douglas Adams, Asimov, Bradbury, Clarke, Card, Delany, Dick, Ellison, Forward, Gibson, Heinlein, LeGuin, Lem, Niven, Orwell, Palahniuk, Pynchon, Sagan, Stephenson, Sterling, Swift, Tolkien, Vonnegut, Zelazny. etc. I want to read all the good books that arose out of the beat generation, then all the freak generation, then maybe some more. Unless I decide I'm done with books. Like one day I say fuck books. I really really like Thomas Pynchon. I say it twice.

Heroes:

Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you’ve imagined.
