The Hot Rods are very happy to announce that we are having a very special show at Smith's Olde Bar. We will be playing with our long time good friends and Atlanta legends The Nightporters and Jonny Hibbert and Friends. For those of you that are not aware The Nightporters consist of Andy Brown (from The Andy Brown Trio), Paul Lenz (formerly of Drivin' n' Cryin'), Tim Nielsen (from Drivin' n' Cryin' and Kathleen Turner Overdrive) and Ray Dafrico (from Kathleen Turner Overdrive and The Shanghai Gesture). Jonny Hibbert is known for his incredible musicianship in the Atlanta scene for the last thirty years and for having one successful band after another. One of which opened for The Sex Pistols. We are talkin’ horn section, all female background singers and more!!! This is gonna be one HELL OF A NIGHT!!!

Okay, a little Bio for you... I am a professional musician with 15+ years experience in the industry. I do what I want, when I want and love freedom. I work a lot but love to play hard when I can.
Most recently, I've been inducted into the up and coming 'rockabilly' sensation known only as The Hot Rods , yeah baby!! We're pretty busy so be sure to check out our upcoming gigs
Prior to this new and exciting development, I've been involved in various projects; sometimes big, sometimes not so big. So goes it in this business. Till now, I’ve stuck entirely with 'original' bands but if I so desired, it would be little trouble filling in for any rock and roll 'cover' band on a dime’s notice. I guess you could say I'm among those in the game who could manage a 200 song set list if I was a dedicated cover band artist. Still, a cover tune once in awhile can be fun, I just prefer original music.
Anyway, I’ve been in a number of Atlanta based bands through the years, anything to keep busy. Performing out is my ultimate high.
I primarily play the drums but also play guitars and vocals… not quite an official singer songwriter yet but it’s in the works.
Though I love jamming here or there, doing rehearsals and even the sometimes stressful studio sessions... I look most forward to hitting the road doing some tour gigs but I do it all for the people. You can definitely call me a people person.
In general, I love music and the scene which comes with it. I get along very well with those who know me and share that in common. So just drop me a line! Later-
