The time was about 2-3 years ago, when two kids became friends and started exploring the realms of hip hop together. Falling in love with something so fresh and revolutionary, Vision decided to come together with Mayhem and start making music. Together now, they called themselves Visionz of Mayhem and decided to embark on a mission to make themselves known in such a shady industry. From recording on a cheap mic, the group became serious when the opportunity was born, where Mayhem was able to make a studio out of his basement. Soon, in time, what was once a dream became a reality as they started to work on an album with high hopes to explode on the underground scene.
Of course, not to fail to mention, it was a long road ahead of them as they struggled to find a balance behind concepts and the basic beats that Mayhem was producing at the time. With every struggle though, a lesson can be learned and Visionz of Mayhem saw one and took it to heart. The lesson to realize was that they were not very good in the beginning, however once serious recording sessions started they would become better. Starting in June, and now about 7 months later, the group is finally ready to drop their first album together. "The Dark Months" was chosen for the title of the album since it reflected the lyricism and beats that sparked pure creativity. The idea behind the album name, lies with the idea that people tend to think or reflect more during the months where the weather is cold. The album is set to drop by the end of December hopefully, and the group awaits the support that they need in order to advance in this game.
Visionz of Mayhem is a unique group that reflects concepts that are deep and hold strong value. In other words, they are not the typical group with the intent to make money out of this buisness or pretend to be something that they are not. The group is true to revolutionary standards, with the goal of making music that is best fitted for a change that is/has been long awaited. So as the group becomes stronger, one can only wait and see in time what Visionz of Mayhem has to offer to such a fuked up world.
