MNF, A's games, Arrested Development, Family Guy and to a lesser extent American Dad, The Simpsons (although the show has gone down hill for the most part), Futurama, Southpark, none of that reality TV crap except for Ultimate Fighter.

Heroes:

FDR (so what if he was a womanizer and a booze-hound, he got shit done when the country needed someone to step up to the plate), Darwin, Einstein, there are a few others but I've got to finish compiling the list. If I could be one superhero though, it would have to be Wolverine.
