About Me

Diane Rehm's voice drives me nuts... I wish she'd speak faster. I got bit by a dog last week. They killed him. Sometimes I chew gum.SEriousLY... I'm a graduate student in the dept. of bioengineering at the university of utah an have many many interests. right now, my work is directed towards understanding the vestibular system (the system of balance) within the inner ear. I can tell you why you lose your balance when intoxicated, if you're interested. When I'm not doing research, i enjoy exercising and painting. I also enjoy singing and was once the lead singer of an Indie Rock band in Portland, OR.

Pretty much everything... Running, Biking, Singing, Painting, Yoga, Rock climbing, Mountaineering, and various assorted fun stuff...

I enjoy some movies. For example, "Solaris" and "Vanilla Sky" are a couple of my favorites. I like films that are both visually appealing and bearing content that is thought provoking. A lot of my favorites are sci fi.

Books:

Tom Robbins, Kurt Vonnegut, most any of the Beats. I'm reading a good book right now called "Until I Find You" by John Irving.
