I'm truly proud of my Music!So who is Kj?
I was born in Norway, in a small town called Moss right outside of
Oslo. In my earlier years I was into biking and hand ball. I was quite talented in sports but something didn't quite fancy me. It didn't give me the satisfaction I longed for. I realized quickly when I started to dance, sing and act, that this was the missing link. The satisfaction I got through this was amazing. Even bigger than anything I hoped for or even could explain.
So, besides working at different theatres, shows and musicals, choreographing dance shows,
and teaching dance for kids, I started on a Musical school; The Norwegian school of performing arts. (Baardar Akademiet) I think it's the smartest thing I ever done until this day. 'Cause this is where I met Johan Osuldsen, One of my best friends and the biggest support I've ever had in my whole life.He is, beside my self the reason why this project has reached you today. Johan was head of musical theatre at the school, and I've had the pleasure to
work whit him several times after that, and finally on this Project.
I wanted more dance-education, besides the fact that I've been dancing street dance and funk all my life, and went on to the National Ballet School of Norway. (Statens Balletthøyskole)What more can I say about myself? Having a solo-career is my biggest dream, and I'm gonna do what ever it takes to make it happen. I've been working with music for over 10 years now, and I have been blessed with 2 nr.1 hits in Norway. I was the most selling Norwegian
artist in 2001, with the pop-group Cape. The album reached nr.1 for 10 weeks and it sold double platinum. The first single was also a big hit and reached nr.1 for 12 weeks. The 4 next singles all reach top 5 in Norway. We had about 150 concerts in Norway in a period of 7 months - a Norwegian record. All concerts were sold out. But I needed more challenge, so I split with the group. In fact we all did. Everyone wanted to do different things.So here I am, in your hands, putting all my effort in - and lots of fait in you.
