DUE TO UNSPEAKABLE CIRCUMSTANCES DANDAN WILL NO LONGER BE PLAYING ON DNBWW MONDAYS 4-6PM
Dandan started to have an interest in Ice Hockey at the age of 14, and took up skater hockey as a hobby. At one point Dandan was playing for two teams at once, and later went on to play for the Great Britain skater hockey team and won many awards. Then years later Dandan was introduced to djing and originally began mixing house, garage, hip hop and rnb tunes at the age of 18, but was soon introduced to old school jungle and later on drum and bass which he's been mixing ever since.
Dandan’s first ever play out was at Camden Lock, and later played at New Nation in Woking September 2004. He then played at The End of an Era event at Bug Bar in Brixton in June the following year, and went on to become a resident at Rollercoaster, playing at Mass Brixton in the summer of 2005, however, the night was put off due to a bomb scare, at this time most ravers were at Innovation in the Sun. Dandan has played for various nights at Brixton Telegraph. He played again at Brixton Mass for Zaids event as the head liner in October that year. In the summer of 2006, Dandan was made a resident of New Nation at Yates in Camberley, and played on various occasions between June and November. Following this he played at Xmas Bosh Special, an event organised by Zaid at the Brixton Mass on 23rd of December 2006.
In recent months Dandan has started playing weekly on the internet drum and bass radio station, drum and bass world wide (www.drumnbassworldwide.co.uk) and will be playing at various events hosted by the radio station in months to come. Dandan has played with the likes of Tc Islam, Blacka, and J swif. He is hoping that 2007 will be a successful year, and hopes to be producing his own beats in the near future!
