Tony “T-Throw” Thrower is a pleasant addition to the southern hip-hop game. T-Throw’s clever word play combined with his versatile style makes for a smooth delivery and an uncanny ability to give listeners what they like to hear. Tony pens all of his lyrics, in doing so he intertwines various styles as the platform of a creation that is his own.What sets T-Throw apart from many of his counterparts is his floetic gift of gab. He has a knack for telling stories without the frequent use of profanity. At a time when “trap rap” and “neo-centric” hip-hop has established themselves as total opposites, T-Throw has emerged as the uniting force between the two.He began his passage as a poet during the summer of 2003. While gracing the mic at a spoken word event, friend and fellow artist S-Caliber discovered T-Throw’s lyrical talent. S-Caliber explained the parallels between poetry and hip-hop and how they interlock.Tony has drawn from the likes of Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, and many others. In addition to finding inspiration in the aforementioned artists, T-Throw uses personal experiences to create music that his fans love and demand. On the independent scene, he has collaborated with a number of up and coming producers and artists.During the summer of 2006, Tony linked with Red Chair Promotions as a means to expand contacts and further his music career. Since doing so, he has made several viable connections and has performed at venues structured to increase his fan base. In conjunction with performing, T-Throw is feverishly laboring on his debut album “Redefining Good Music”.
