Created by author/illustrator, Ralph Cosentino.Ralph was born in Argentina to professional flamenco dancers. When he was four, he and his family immigrated to the United States, where Ralph eventually settled in Ohio. Four years ago, Ralph's son Dante scribbled on a scrap of paper and named his creation "Honk-Honk-Ashoo" (after the comical snoring sounds that Daddy made to entertain the kids). Ralph was inspired by the name and with the help of his family created Honk-Honk-Ashoo and his world. www.honkhonkashoo.com Ralph ultimately attracted the attention of Viking Children's Books. "Ralph is brimming with creativity and energy. HONK-HONK-ASHOO is just the beginning for him," said Viking Children's Books Senior Editor Joy Peskin. That's what makes his stories successful."An animated series is currently in negotiation and development, and Cosentino's latest book, "The Marvelous Misadventures of Fun-Boy," was published in spring of 2006 by Viking Children's Books.
