Individuals set out intentionally living their journeys. I am facinated by what makes us all who we are as individuals and how we can connect as a whole. In the "what if..." questioning of who I would love to meet, I would be honored to have been able to sit and talk with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. And in the land of those amazing human beings still with us, but whom I will most likeley not encounter, to be able to sit and talk with Nelson Mandela is a dream I have had for many years prior to his release. In a more direct manner I would like to meet educators/trainers/activists who work independently and learn how to best connect with communities and teach others how to empower themselves and our children (OUR meaning the world's children, not specifically "our" children). In a smaller more intimate way, I have set my intentions to meet and be open to a man with whom I connect emotionally, spiritually, sexually, socially and intellectually to create a committed, monogymous and mutually supportve relationship with. (just to clarify, this is my search out in the real world, definitely not a search here on myspace)
Almost ALL music speaks to me. I can find peace in chanting, get hyped by a sick beat, or simply lose hours channel surfing. Basically, if a song speaks to my body or soul I am able to relate to it and gain a small piece of me thru it. Music is a part of me and cannot define what it is, but I know I would be lost without it, and am always seeking out artists and genres that allow that.
