Paper Bag Brown has run of the design industry. In 1997 he left Birmingham,Alabama to Attend AIA(Art Institute of Atlanta)in Georgia.Majoring in Graphic Design he would stay here until early 2000 before leaving for Colorado Springs,Colorado on what some may call an "insane artist mission". While in Colorado he dabbled in the "Hippie Scene" where he would began to take interest in the fashion of those who presented the "Dress the way you feel look",these "beatnickers" would always come across so intriguing to Paper Bag.After Disecting the "Colorado Scene", Paper Bag set on a mission that took him back to Birmingham where he would began to explore his wacky, yet interesting fashion ideas.Paper Bag worked odd jobs to pay the bills, until one day while working at a kios(small portable store in the middle of the mall)in Century Plaza Mall he was approached by an individual needing a designer for this new idea he wanted as a clothing line.Paper Bag went on to design the entire line for 205 flava where Reuben Studdard (AMERICAN IDOL WINNER)promoted the line and recieved worldwide recognition for his trendy designed jerseys(Designed by Paper Bag Himself). Paper Bag then went on designing jerseys for Jasper Cameron(Hit producer for rowdy records)Rico Wade,(hit producer for TLC,Outkast,Goodie Mob,Roscoe,Usher,and many then LaFace artist). Anthony Hamilton,Dave Chapelle,and many others. Paper Bag has also had an exhibit in the world-reknown Dusable Museum(the Largest african-american museum of the world)with 100 plus one Motown review with entertainment lawyer and philanthropist Gregory J. Reed(also estate lawyer for the late Rosa Parks). Paper Bag has given his works to the great Patti Labelle commemorating her beloved friend Luther Vandross as well. Recently he has worked with designer Brian Reyes on his signature line, and Cam for her line ELIJAH in New York City.Through it all he knows that GOD comes first and everything else is secondary.
