About Me

I am one of God's peculiar people. I've had a lot of different diagnoses hung on me, but I like that one best. Right now they like to call me bipolar most of the time. I take meds for a little this and a little that. Who knows? Long ago, I was a National Merit Scholar. This gives me the crazy idea that my opinion is worth hearing. I have a lot of time to wonder about things as I'm emotionally disabled. I enjoy sharing my opinions in process. This can be wild. Sometimes I say things one day and then contradict myself the next day with no idea that I'm doing it. Interacting with people on the internet helps me get out of my head.

Bible. Philosophy. My nieces. Psychology. Republican Politics. Intersection of Church & State. Poor and disabled (how people view, a better plan to fund, like individual rehab. plans for people designed by social workers working WITH govt., etc.). crochet.

I'd like to meet:

People who love words and big ideas and want to change the world or themselves with the help of God, people who want to make changes instead of demanding change from the government or society. I enjoy people who aren't satisfied with just mouthing dogma, but who seek a real, thinking, living faith. My faith has to WORK for me. I don't want a stagnant pool of beliefs. I love my friends, and I have the best intentions to keep in touch. But my first 2 priorities are my stability and my spiritual growth. I know that sounds selfish, but the government pays me a salary to take care of myself and stay out of the hospital. I need to do that first of all.
