I was running late for work, So I didn't change my shirt. The evening's drinks left a lingering taste in my mouth. And when I left, You were fast asleep, Tangled in the sheets. And on the bus I could have sworn it was all a dream. And it didn't happen to me.And then I felt the scrapes, From the slippery subway grate. Oh how you laughed, At my complete lack of grace. But I could not recall, A more perfect fall, Cause when I looked up into your eyes, It didn't hurt at all.And I thought, be still my heart, This could be a brand new start, with you. And it will be clear, If I wake up and you're still here with me in the morning.
I like a lot of music. My favourite Genres are Polynesian Contemporary, Island/Lover Rock Reggae, Disco, Trance/Techno, Alternative Synth Rock, and Old-Skool Country. I listen to Hip-Hop at the dancehall, and especially with my friend, Ely Carlos Manos de Piedra Valoroso, but I don't like to listen to it if it is my own choice. The Artist JoJo is the only artist who can speak to me with Slow-Jams, and if it is not her beautiful, sultry voice soothing my nerves and fears, I most likely to not find it favourable. And if it is a Thursday Night, then I want pure 80's dance all up in my urrs^-^ But if school is in, that is not happening too much. I just love music anyways...give me like five years, and Classical Music will most likely join this list^-^
Some of my favourite movies include Lilo and Stitch, Lars and the Real Girl, The Trip, Dorian Blues, Everything is Illuminated, The Unsinkable Molly Brown, The Women, and a whole listload of others I can't remember right now. I really like chick flicks and comedy/dramas because they are just about life and what people go through on their journeys throughout this world. Don't get me mixed-up, I love Star Wars, LOTR, and Harry Potter as much as the next person, but i'd be more liable to choose something like "Bringing Down the House" first.

..There are so many people in this globe that have to go through so much just to be looked upon as a priceless, valuable person. Anyone who has to breach the walls of discrimination (successful in their efforts, or not) in order to live a happy, healthy life is a hero to me. There are so many events and people throughout history that have given me so much pride and hope for the future, and I can't begin to thank them enough for all the pain and suffering that they went through just so I would be able to just live. And there are still things today in this world that are hindering me from achieving a full, joyous life, and I hope and pray with all my heart that I can take example from all those heroes of the past and be a hero/champion of the people myself someday...oh and PAMALA DAVIS PALU, CONSTANCE RAE JENSEN, and ESERA TUAOLO are my personal heroes^-^
