I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. And ain't that the truth, so be here now - today is a gift, that's why it is called the present. Born in Granada Hills. Raised in the SCV (there IS something in the water out there - and if ya have ever met any of my hometown girls, then you KNOW what I am talking about). From an innocent suburban girl into a woman of the world. I've been an L.A. doll but I still have my small town roots and much prefer the simpler life of a one-horse town to a big ol' city any day. My friends are forever and my family is always first, and I just might be biased but mine are the best. I've managed to land myself the most amazing man ever to grace this world with his presence. He is the most charming, loving, caring and appreciative husband probably ever (not probably, he is). And he's mine, all mine. The best thing about us is that we've got one up on Ricky Bobby... there can be two number ones, and we most certainly are eleven. I am the oldest of six (love every last one of you little brats), so my maternal instinct is totally honed. I act as a care-taking mom to all of my friends, even those older than I (but I still need a mommy too sometimes). I DON'T like unnecessary drama; you can save that one for your mommy. I live to have fun, that IS what life is all about. I think that fear, regret and guilt are USELESS emotions, they serve no purpose but to make life miserable and that is not why we are here. Just live and learn (keyword LEARN), ALL experience is worthwhile, NO time is wasted and EVERYTHING happens at the perfect time and in the perfect way (especially the stuff you don't like for it is usually where you learn the most). I have the worst fuckin' potty mouth and, DAMNIT, I LOVE IT! Go ahead, people, swear and curse all you want it relieves tension, I promise. And, by the way, it does not denote a lack of education, take it from me, I'm one of the smartest people I know. Everyone's opinion is valid unto them, so I always agree to disagree. Reality is perception based after all and each of us lives in our own (the very one we create). Life is comprised of a series of choices. If you don't like what is going on in your life - then choose to choose again. AND DON'T EVER SAY CAN'T it is the worst four-letter word. Nothing is impossible, whatever you can imagine can be. Believing IS seeing (not the other way around). And BELEIVE that you affect other peoples' lives without even knowing it. So be who you are and say what you feel!!! Those who matter don't mind, and those who mind DON'T MATTER!!!!!

My Interests

FAMILY (I am SO proud of ALL my brothers and sisters, YOU GUYS ROCK), FRIENDS (where would I be without you?), simple pleasures, being positive, stepping out of my comfort zone and by doing so; inspiring others to do the same, rock and roll, shooting stars, full moons, blue moons, thunderstorms & lightning, SNOW, roller coasters (the bigger, the faster, the higher the better), life, A GLASS HALF FULL, people of all sorts (little kids especially cuz they know a whole lot more than we do - well we did, we just forgot), coincidence (like there's such a thing:), animals and their habbits, amusement parks (Disneyland's my fav - but ya gotta love the thrills at 6 flags - how many summers did we spend there, jewels? I wonder if we ever unwittingly bumped into Dave there), the great outdoors, cooking, cleaning (yup, I really do like to clean, it's therapeutic), gardening, writing, QUANTUM PHYSICS, photography, cold beer on a hot day (or any day for that matter), seeing all of my friends' and relatives' kids grow (happens way too fast), things that go varoooom, all the little mountain towns and podunks up 395, singing in the shower, singing in the car, singing when I am doing the dishes or blow drying my hair or cleaning my house - anytime is a good time for singing cuz singin' seems to help a troubled soul, hot tubs, hot showers, hot baths, just hot water in general (literally and sometimes even metaphorically), road trips, history (particularly haunted history), architecture (the old stuff), and anything that has to do with the old west
