I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Born and raised in V-Town (aka Valencia, CA)...great place to grow up...not a great place to live forever though. I'm pretty much exclusively into the following (not in order): Surfing, surfing, surfing (and to clarify, surfing - to me - equals riding a short thruster on big waves), hanging with Christy (side note: I've always been a smart ass...my WIFE informed me that I'm really a "useful smartass," which is a compliment...I think), making money, good food, good beer, vodka on the rocks, good friends, and good times, spending my paycheck on surfboards, drifting my bad-ass BMW 335i around corners, and just living each day to the fullest I'm able to and always having fun. I try to keep it simple, I try to approach everything with an open mind. I used to pre-judge everyone and everything and it didn't really get me to where I wanted to be. I stopped doing that and wow if all my days just don't roll along as perfect as can be. Life really isn't all that serious and if you can't have fun, well, that sucks for you!!!

My Interests

Well, I certainly like surfing and chasing that sometimes elusive barrel (and the perfect conditions that must come with it: wind, tide, swell...and a jammer in the lot before hand). I also love me some powder on my snowboard (thanks again for the bro deal Ari). And when I can get up to Mammoth before the freaking locals’ (Matt, Meagan & Max rule) track it all out (lucky S.O.B.'s), I do. I got to live up there one year (I've got a pass for life so why not right?). I also can't forget my dogs...I love my dogs. Zeus is my big yellow lab (though he's pretty white) and Nelani is my rescue dog. She is a mix of all sorts: pit, boxer, beagle, who knows, but she is the nicest dog ever. I'm also into Black & White Photography (both enjoying & collecting the artwork and attempting to create my own - though the latter has gone by the wayside of late). Politics...I'm pretty liberal, but oddly I find myself absolutely fascinated with FOX NEWS. I mean those people do it with a straight face day in and day out...I gotta give props for some reason. Watching Sports: NFL (Steeler fan for life), NBA (Lakers rule, Kobe haters need to get over it...so he fucked a white girl, so what? It's his wifes' problem, not yours you racist ass mother fuckers, stop booing the guy...what the fuck did he do to you?), and extreme sports rule, they will be the death of hockey and baseball (I hope). Math. Yikes math, but yeah, I like it along with logic games and puzzles. Gambling and Vegas as often as possible. Did I mention surfing & snowboarding? Good.

My Aunt also has 2 great books:

Don't Speak To Strangers

Heroes:

Dad - RIP, Mom. Kelly Slater. Dude is just so sick...and now he's going MJ on the surfing world. Any surfer over 40 that doesn't ride a long board...like that painter dude from SB that's like 48 and has a mad beer belly, but rips 8 foot beach break like he should be on the CT (I seriously saw the dude pull an air). Also, Timmy Turner, Travis Potter, and Bret Schwartz. Laird "THE SPECIMEN" Hamilton. Then there's my boy Russell, the big bad defense attorney from the CPT. Russell puts such a premium on TV that he pays for basic cable each month JUST IN CASE his DIRECTV goes out. Now that is a hero. Lastly, Ari & Matt. I don't know two dudes that have lived a better life since college. How many of you have boarded 100+ days the last 8 or 9 years? That's what I thought...heroes.
