"Born For This" Inspired By The Words Of My Pastor; Donald Andy McClurkin Jr.) Life often can make me wonder why I'm here because of my circumstances, I've cried many nights trying to come to Grips with my life's reality. Their have been times when I've wanted out of this life, so much so that I've wanted to saphicate myself with a pillow just to find some peace in my life. Despite my many urges to want out One man has always inspired me to go beyond my limitations and live my life to the fullest; His name is Donald Andy McClurkin Jr. As a boy He struggled trying to find love and exceptance like I have, He was molested twice and I've always been known as the girl with Cerebral Palsy. So as you can see we both have lives that have been trying but I once heard my mentor say, "I was born for this." and "I'm the pain others can relate to.. From this I've learned that suicide is not the answer, but instead I must live and forever know that... "I WAS BORN FOR THIS"...!!!!!!! "I Love You Pastor Donnie & Remember...WE WERE BORN FOR THIS!!!!!!!! Many people think they know my life but they really only see the surface, beneath it does there lie a journey; a journey that only I can walk out!!!!!!! If you wanna know how I've made it look at these traces of ink that follow me, you'll see how I've made it because despite adversity my problems will never chew me up, spit me out, or swallow me. These traces of ink are stories of love, trial, & triumph!!!!!!!!!!Being a poetic lyricist is tough for me because I wrestle in my thoughts constantly trying to use common sense to make sense of what's fake & what's real; all the while my soul contimplates just what it is that I feel! I find myself trying to restore the joy that the enemy so often tries to steal. Not only do I hope to help me but also another crying soul that the enemy tries to kill!!! No matter how much Jesus I got I always try to keep it real no matter how much joy the enemy tries to steal!!!Ever since I was little I always loved the feel of the mic. Everytime I hold one their is this overwhelming confidence in me through God that takes over & insecurity is no more! My ultimate dream is to travel this world & speak before millions to encourage the physically challenged & those who are not. God has blessed me with a voice & the articulation of speech. In knowing that I try to build my confidence everyday to try & find the strength to carry on. Now, does it mean I don't cry? No, but I love to sing!I can't tell you I'm perfect because I never will be, I can't tell you that I haven't looked someone in the eyes & seen only the truth for all it is consequently not loving them more than myself because I'm afraid I'll never see the truth again, I can't say that I've always said or done it right in hurting no one, but what I can tell you is that my heart is true hiding nothing from the world!!!!!!Here I am!!!!!!!!
