SoF Major Ocelot

I regret to inform you that I have no intention on selling Metal Gear. As I said, I came to take it

About Me

____________________________________________________ I am Revolver Ocelot. I was born June 6, 1944. I am also referred to as simply Ocelot, Shalashaska, in Russian, Adamska, and Liquid Ocelot. I specialize in military gunplay and interrogation. I am an ex-Russian Spetsnaz soldier who served during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. It was during this time that I became infamous amongst the mujahadeen as a sadist for which they christened me Shalashaska. I am the grandson of a member of the Wisemen's Committee (my mother being The Boss, her father being one of the Wisemen).___________________________________________________ _ I am obsessed with guns, cowboy films and spaghetti Westerns. This is reflected in my choice of dress as well as my codename and the weapon I use - I am armed with two, or sometimes three Colt Single Action Army revolvers (5.5 inch, .45 Long-Colt), which I am said to wield with almost superhuman skill, seeing that I am both a master of ricochet and fancy gun-twirling techniques; I have attained the uncanny ability to draw my weapon and shoot any target within a split second, as well as make no less than a two-floor leap effortlessly. I also use a technique known as 'fanning', in which one hand holds the revolver's trigger down and the other hits the revolver hammer repeatedly, allowing for rapid fire. I was inspired to use revolvers after my first meeting with Big Boss ("Naked Snake" at the time) when we fought each other. Also, my hand gestures are a favorite among my fans.My only loyalty has been to the American Philosophers, who later became the Patriots. I know and obey their commands, despite the role I may be playing at the time. Although I submit my complete loyalty to The Patriots, I am forced, against my will, into a vendetta against them; my body and mind are frequently taken over by Liquid Snake, who possesses me through my arm (itself transplanted from Liquid Snake's corpse).___________________________________________________ Birth ____________________________________________________I was born after my mother was wounded during the invasion of Normandy, June 6th, 1944. I was the son of Cobra operatives The Joy (who later became The Boss) and The Sorrow. I was taken away from my parents shortly after birth by the Philosophers. After being taken away from my biological parents, I was raised by GRU and Colonel Volgin, but I actually side with the American branch of the Philosophers and worked for them as a sleeper agent in the Soviet Union. ____________________________________________________ At the age of 20, I was already a Spetsnaz operative and the leader of my own elite "Ocelot" unit with the rank of major. I also served as an operative for the CIA Director and posed as a defecting NSA analyst for the KGB under the codename of "ADAM". My mission was to work with The Boss and retrieve The Philosophers' Legacy. During the initial "Virtuous Mission", I went to the abandoned building in Rassvet to meet up with The Boss (who was infiltrating Volgin's ranks), but instead I confronted FOX operative Naked Snake (Big Boss), who was on a mission to save Russian scientist Nikolai Stephanovich Sokolov and bring him back to the West. During this encounter with Naked Snake, I showed off by ejecting the first bullet by hand, and trying out a "fast reload" technique in combat, which jammed my sidearm. Snake overpowered me and my men, and noted that using my elbow to absorb the recoil was more of a revolver technique, at which I responded by charging with his drawn knife.A week later, during "Operation: Snake Eater", I once again confronted Snake. Inspired by Snake's advice to use revolvers, I traded my Makarov with an engraved version of the Colt Single Action Army, but I was once again criticized by Snake, who explained that the engraving offered no tactical advantage (unless "auctioned off as a collector's item."). I eventually settled for regular Single Action Army revolvers, which I first used against Snake when we fought in Bolshaya Pass. We never got to finish the battle, as the fight was interrupted by a swarm of hornets under The Pain's control.Snake and I would meet again on several occasions during Operation: Snake Eater. When Snake was captured and tortured, I was responsible (but not deliberately) for the loss of Snake's right eye - I was juggling my revolvers and trying to shoot Tatyana (EVA), whom I (correctly) suspected of being a spy. It was also at this moment that I developed an interest in torture, remarking that it was "the ultimate form of expression." After Snake escaped, I (along with several members of my unit and attack dogs) caught up with him in the sewers under Groznyj Grad. Before I was able to shoot, Snake jumped from a drop-off into a river (in a scene somewhat similar to the actor Harrison Ford's jump from the dam in The Fugitive). Afterwards, Snake and I confronted each other for the last time when Snake and EVA were escaping the country via a WIG aircraft. Snake, after I asked him for his real name, told me that his name was John, and I revealed my name to be Adamska. We ended our encounter almost amicably and I jumped off the WIG as it took off. _________________________________________________Later career ____________________________________________________ I continued my service in Spetsnaz until the collapse of the Soviet Union. Then I served OMON, the Russian Tax Police's elite swat team. Afterwards, I joined SVR, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Agency (successor to the KGB's First Directorate). However, I was unsatisfied with the new regime and left Russia. I participated in various regional conflicts (including the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan) as a hired mercenary, until I was scouted by the U.S. Government and recruited by FOXHOUND. I considered joining FOXHOUND, the unit founded by his former rival and equal, Big Boss, to be a privilege and the highlight of my career. However, Big Boss was already dead by the time I joined the unit. Liquid Snake, the FOXHOUND leader at the time and one of Big Boss' own "sons", was not aware of this motive. As a member of FOXHOUND, I was responsible for the induction of former Outer Heaven mercenary Vulcan Raven and the discovery of Psycho Mantis. _______________________________________________Shadow Moses Island Incident _______________________________________________ Events in this section are depicted in Metal Gear Solid. During my time as a member of FOXHOUND, I end up losing my right hand during the Shadow Moses island incident to Fox while fighting Snake.During FOXHOUND's attempted "revolution" using a new nuclear weapons system, I served as Liquid's right-hand man (ironically, Liquid later serves as my right arm, after mine is removed), but I was secretly working for the President of the United States at the time (and a Patriot operative himself), George Sears (Solidus Snake). I "accidentally" killed the DARPA Chief (to prevent Liquid Snake from obtaining the detonation code of the nuclear warhead that he planned to use) and put the ArmsTech President, to a thorough torture. I fights against operative Solid Snake in the Tank Hangar's armory, but I lost my right hand (from my fingertips to about three-fourths up my forearm) to Gray Fox. Afterwards, I stole the MO Disk containing the exercise data of Metal Gear REX from Snake while under captivity.Ultimately, I survived the events of Shadow Moses and escaped with the disk. I leaked the REX data to the Black Market and then received a partial arm transplant performed in Lyon, France. The operation is paid for by Solidus Snake, and the arm belongs to Liquid Snake, who died of FOXDIE. Liquid (while possessing my body) mentions that he "chose" me as his host, suggesting that Solidus, in fact, convinced me to take Liquid's arm so that in some way Solidus would have an ally (and "brother") should I betray him, as I later would. It is also possible that Liquid was referring to his soul, as I had inherited some of his father's abilities as a medium. __________________________________________________ The Sinking of the Tanker _______________________________________________ Events in this section are depicted during the Tanker chapter portion of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.I resurfaced during the Tanker incident, stealing a sophisticated "Metal Gear RAY" system developed by the US Marines while claiming to be "taking it back" to its rightful owners. At this point Liquid's dormant personality takes over my mind and body via the arm. I was seen using injections to suppress the manifestations. Later, it is revealed by Liquid that the presence of Solidus or Snake is required to "free" him and allow him to possess me. __________________________________________________ The Big Shell Takeover _______________________________________________ Events in this section are depicted during the Plant chapter portion of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.During the Big Shell takeover, I apparently aid Solidus Snake in fighting the mysterious Patriots, a group Solidus believes is running a simulation intended to prove that, given the right circumstances, any soldier can become as skilled as the legendary Solid Snake. Once again, however, I double-crossed my comrades, revealing that I was working with the Patriots. The sinister group has stage-managed the events of Solidus' action with precision; My final role was to finish off the remaining "evidence", namely Solidus Snake, Solid Snake, Raiden, and Fortune. However, Liquid Snake took over my body again, and stole Metal Gear RAY with the intention of using it to destroy the Patriots. But as it may turn out, his effort will be in vain as even my knowledge of their location is quite possibly false.Colt Single Action Army revolver (5.5 inch, .45 Long-Colt)What gun do I use? I am equipt with a Colt Single Action Army. Also known as the Colt Peacemaker or Single Action Army, the Colt Single Action Army handgun is a single action revolver holding 6 rounds of ammunition, that was designed for the US cavalry by Colt's Manufacturing Company and adopted in 1873, and it was perhaps the most prolific pistol in the wild west._______________________________________________________ _______What is FOXHOUND?Foxhound is a High-Tech Special Forces Unit FOX-HOUND (or FOXHOUND), specializing in solo covert infiltration missions, founded by Big Boss during the Cold War.In order to cope with local revolutions, regional complications, and global terrorist activities, a special operations unit called FOXHOUND was founded in 1971, as a replacement for the FOX unit formerly led by Major Zero. Their agents are trained to infiltrate and carry-out top-secret operations within "unauthorized" combat zones which are too politically-sensitive to intervene in through conventional means. The existence of FOX-HOUND became known worldwide after the "Outer Heaven Crisis" at Garzburg in 1995, and once again during the "Zanzibar Land Riots" in 1999. They were able to make good use of high-tech surveillance and combat equipment in their covert operations, having a resounding impact on contemporary military strategy and training, resulting in a slew of other special forces units being created in their image (such as Dead Cell) throughout the world. In 2005, the unit was disbanded after their involvement in the "Shadow Moses Island" takeover, which also revealed their experiments with gene therapy. Since then several tales of their members (most notably Solid Snake) have surfaced to the public, earning the unit the title of the "Phantom Ninja Squad".All members of FOX-HOUND have mastered various paratrooper techniques, including low and high altitude diving skills, and are thoroughly acquainted with silent invasion techniques from under and over water. Moreover, they have an incredible amount of knowledge concerning wilderness survival techniques for both forest, jungle, desert, and mountainous areas; are well trained in shadow and tailing techniques, pyrotechnic and munitions handling, radio and satellite communications, the seizing and reusing of enemy weapons and items, the electronic collection information and surveillance, various martial arts, emergency medical operations, world linguistics, and various other unreleased special skills.Due to the rigorous demands, both mental and physical, placed upon members of FOX-HOUND, members are never chosen as civilians, but are drafted instead from a myriad of armed forces recruits and self-nominees from various special forces.

Heroes:

Big Boss, Lee Van Cleef, Hideo Kojima...The Shagohod. To the Russians the "step-walker", occasionally referred to in English as "The Treading Behemoth"), while not a Metal Gear variant per se, has a similar design and role. Rather than a bipedal mecha, it is an unconventional tank, armed with an intermediate-range ballistic missile it can propel to intercontinental ranges. Like the various Metal Gear variants, it can be crewed by a single pilot, although it has a station for a copilot. The Shagohod has an articulated body, split into two parts. The front part has a pair of Archimedes screws on hydraulic legs, which pull the bulky rear portion, suspended on a hovercraft-style air cushion. While this is an unusual mechanism for propulsion, far more unusual are the Shagohod's rocket boosters. With a sufficiently large flat piece of land (such as a highway or landing strip), the Shagohod can fire its rocket boosters to build up speed (up to more than 480 km/h or 300 mi/h) before firing its primary weapon, a nuclear-armed intermediate-range ballistic missile. In doing so, it serves as an additional stage for the rocket, allowing it to strike at targets nearly anywhere in the world. The Shagohod also has parachutes in the back to help slowing it down after a rocket-boosted missile-launch.Metal Gear REX is the model of Metal Gear involved in the Shadow Moses incident, and is characterized by a railgun that can deliver undetectable nuclear warheads to anywhere in the world. In addition to its railgun, REX differs from the preceding Metal Gear D in that its legs are heavily armored and reinforced, not vulnerable like its predecessor's.The Metal Gear REX has near-impregnable compound armor, a pair of vulcan cannons, anti-tank missiles, and a free-electron laser, to protect itself from conventional forces. Its primary weapon, however, is a railgun capable of delivering a nuclear warhead anywhere in the world, without the propellant trail or launch flare that gives away the launch position of a traditional ballistic missile. Because of its sealed, one-man cockpit and thick armor, its sensors are focused in a radome on the left side of its body; this radome is very vulnerable to attack, and destroying it effectively blinds the REX.The Metal Gear REX was a last-ditch effort on the part of weapons company ArmsTech, and, after bribing DARPA chief Donald Anderson to get covert US government funding for its development, ArmsTech produces a single prototype, which is sent to be tested at a nuclear weapons disposal facility on Shadow Moses Island.Metal Gear RAY comes in two variants: a manned prototype version, developed to combat derivatives of Metal Gear REX, and an unmanned version, refitted to defend Arsenal Gear.RAY differs from previous Metal Gears in that it is not a nuclear launch platform, but instead a weapon of conventional warfare, originally designed to hunt down and destroy the many derivatives of Metal Gear REX that became common after the leak of the REX plans after the events of Metal Gear Solid. It is designed to be even more maneuverable and flexible in deployment than the REX, and can operate both on land and in the water. (Underwater, it is propelled by engines of unknown form in its two bulbous "wings".) While RAY has a pair of machine guns and six missile tubes to defend itself from more conventional battlefield threats, its primary weapon is a powerful water jet that can cut through heavily-armored foes, such as Metal Gear REX clones. The Metal Gear RAY is more organic than previous models, both in appearance and in function. The exterior is more organic; its streamlined shape helps to deflect enemy fire and allows for greater maneuverability both on land and in the water. RAY's interior workings are also much more organic. It has artificial fibers that contract when electricity is applied, much like natural muscle, instead of typical hydraulics; this pseudo-muscle tissue makes it very maneuverable. It also has a nervous-system-like system of conductive nanotubes, which connect the widely dispersed sensor systems and relay commands from the cockpit to the various parts of RAY's body, automatically bypassing damaged systems and rerouting to auxiliary systems when needed. Particularly unusual is its blood-like armor-repair nanopaste, which is secreted from valves whenever the exterior surface is damaged.Arsenal Gear is a submersible, mobile fortress, with the ability to monitor, block, and tamper with internet communications in order to further the goals of The Patriots. In Metal Gear Solid 2, it is a metaphor for the change of warfare in the last decades of the 20th century, from nuclear war to a war of culture, information, and espionage. The Arsenal Gear depicted is hidden under the Big Shell, and is controlled by an AI named "GW", which was designed by Emma Emmerich.Arsenal Gear is massive, large enough to house - and also require - a significant force for its defense. The exterior is shown when Radien and Solidus are heading for Federal Hall and see it speeding under many bridges before it crashes. It is large enough to house many Metal Gear RAYs, and causes widespread destruction when it crashes into Manhattan Island.) The Arsenal Gear hidden under the Big Shell has a unspecified number of "Tengu Commandos", soldiers clad in bionic exoskeletons and armed with P90 submachine guns and katana. It also has a squadron of 25 mass-production Metal Gear RAYs, each of which is under the direct control of GW, the AI controlling Arsenal Gear.Comprised of two main bodies, the Gekko has a mechanical head and torso similar to Metal Gear REX, and organic legs similar to Metal Gear RAY, with artificially-produced muscle. The unit can bleed if cut. The Gekko is heavy with strong surface armor, able to break through stone surfaces and withstand regular assault rifle fire, though sharp objects are able to disable or destroy it. One of its attacks is to charge enemy ground forces. Each leg is strong enough to support the weight of the rest of the body, including when hanging or lifting itself, and it can keep itself upright even if it has lost the other leg (probably by gyroscopic sensors in the AI system, though this is unknown). If the unit lands on its head, it does have difficulty getting upright. The legs give it nearly all-terrain capability, appearing to be able to rotate 360 degrees at the hip joint and grab onto higher surfaces with its feet, allowing it to pull itself up. It can stab its feet into walls and shimmy up to higher storeys. The Gekko can jump great distances and many times its height. It can also kick in a sweeping motion, and use its feet to stomp on objects. Each unit has an onboard AI system that takes control. Multiple units seem to be able to work with each other, executing attacks and traps in a team fashion to destroy a target. Other parts of its equipment include an infrared radome on the top left-hand side of the head, TOW Missiles on the left side of the head, an M2 .50 Machine Gun on the top right-hand side of the head, and it has a storage compartment accompanied by flexible cable-like tentacles to hand personnel any needed equipment when necessary. These tentacles have three fingers at the end to grip objects with, and are also used in combat to grab and drag enemies, or for stabbing. It is also important to note that the Gekko can imitate animal noises such as cattle in order to lure a potential target into a false sense of security.
