My name is Robert Vaughn and I am the rank of an E-4 Specialist in U.S. Army. I also go by Vaugeta or my online gamer name for the PS3 on PSN (PlayStation Network)is SoulTakingKiller. I graduated from Benson High School in May of 2005 in Omaha, Nebraska and 3 months later I joined the U.S. Army on Augest 2, 2005 and my MOS is a 13-B Field Artillery Cannon Crewmember. Went to Basic Training in Ft. Sill Oklahoma on Augest 24, 2005 and graduated on December 8, 2005. Went home for Christmas then went to Ft. Hood Texas for my active duty station on Decemeber 29, 2005. Went to Ft. Poke Lousiana for JRTC (Joint Readiness Training Center) for the month of June 2006. I deployed for the first time on Oct. 28, 2006 and got to my permenant duty station in Taji, Iraq on Nov. 14, 2006 the first 6 months I worked as force protection which is FOB (Ford Operation Base) security. I work up in the towers and at the gates and bridge. The Towers are all around the perimeter and overlook the villages and Highways. The Gates control Coaliation and IA forces coming in and out of the FOB and all civialian vehicles and LN's (Local Nationals) are searched and X-rayed both entering and exiting the FOB. Camp Taji is split down the middle one half is controlled and operated by IA's (south side) while the other half is Coaliation forces. (north side). After that I did a month of DRRF (Division Ready Reactionary Force) which is do assalt missions on a UH-60 Black Hawk. Then QRF (Quick Reactionary Force) going out on patrols in humvees for the next couple months till i to the gate again for a couple months then I left Iraq in January of 2008 for good and will be done with my 15 month tour. I went to Ft. Irwin California for NTC (National Training Facuilty) in October of 2008. We are ready to leave again to Bagdad Iraq from Febuary 2009-March 2010
