Sol

Sol grew up in Buenos Aires surrounded by music. Her mother was singing in a chorus just before she was born as the father was a guitar player and musician. They used to play guitar and sing along at home. Going to a music school as a child, at schooltime she used to meet with her close friend to play music with their little keyboards, they used to spend long hours playing their own electronic songs..."we thought we could be the female version of Kraftwerk, but we didn..t have equiment enough!" Then they bought electric guitars and better keyboards and formed an "indie rock/pop" band named Atlantica that was sounding at most of the underground venues of the city for three years. By this time Sol was also invited to do many collabs with other bands such as Rayos Catriel (now Entre Rios) and Emilio Haro.
On 1998 Sol moved first to London and some years later to Ibiza, her actual home. Being invited by the island to sing along several dj..s sets, she found it was a lot of fun and specially loved to do it with Jon Sa Trinxa at Salinas beach and with Tony French Fresh'n Funky.
This took her to meet and work with several musicians and producers like Paoli M.O.C from Bambuddah Grove, O.M.M. Sounds, Ingmar Hansch (Movin Sounds), IKON (Jalapeno Records), Johann Bley (Juno Reactor), Soul G and Tony Match from Magoo records and mostly with the two great producers Marko Bussian and Jean Charles "Fou" Vandermynsbrugge from Fous de la Mer (Elektrolux) whose she..s been working with since then.
