Myriam Paradisi: Sculptor

Myriam was born in 1969 in Cavaillon (France), where she taught herself to sculpt the limestone from the Lubéron, found near her home town. After her first trip to the famous marble quarries in Carrara (Italy), she prefers to work in marble. For a few years she lived in Holland where she runned her own workshop “Atelier Rue du Paradis”, beautifully situtated on the banks of the river Amstel near Amsterdam. Nowadays Myriam lives in Carrara where she acquired the ancient techniques from the italian masters. Although stone is her preferred material she recently has made some amazing bronzes.
