..From the tender age of 13 Londons DJ Ikon first took to the wheels of steel by saving up for his first set of decks by doing a weekly paper round,
With a clear goal in mind, Ikon never gave up. In 2005, Manic FM.com joint hands with the up and comer and was offered his first radio show with the internets leading station.
Early 2006 saw Ikon joining with Londons Triple Award Winning Freeze FM 92.7 for one of their busiest breakfast shows. Soon after his debut set on Freeze; Bars and Club Promoters began to take notice of Ikon and he was offered prime time sets in some of Londons most prestigious nightspots.
Now currently living on the South Coast of the UK to continue with his University Studies, Ikon has not given up his position at Freeze and continues to dedicate himself every week to his 7-10am Breakfast show.
Ikon saw a gap in the niche market of Bournemouths dance and R&B scene and successfully launched his very own internet based radio station - TheHangoverClub.co.uk. Although it's currently still in its growing phases, Ikon believes this could be Bournemouths No 1 Student internet radio station and continues to dedicate his time, effort and money to the station.
Ikon has now teamed up with Garage Nations DAVI C to bring a brand new night to Bournemouths night life offering the lowest drink prices and best DJs to the scene. Again, still in its growing phases, this promises to be one of the hottest nights Bournemouth Town has to offer!
This summer Ikon has been booked for a residency in Corfu to play at Twice as Nice @ St Georges. Ikon will be flying out at the end of May and staying in one of Corfu's Plush's venues playing the finest R&B / Funky House and UK Garage....Watch this space Ravers!
